]]> The 27th edition of ‘Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival’ will officially open tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the Piazzetta under the sign of solidarity, with the Italian Army band awarded the Capri Humanitarian Award for spreading Italian music in its peace missions.

There will also be Mattia Villardita, the young Ligurian port boy who volunteers to serve children in hospitals in his ‘Spider-man’ costume to receive public honors along with investigative journalist and war reporter Daniele Piervincenzi.
And then director Roberto Burchielli, creator of the documentary “The Lost Beauty: Syria” (starring Raoul Bova). Also scheduled during the ceremony is an affectionate tribute to Peppino di Capri, the symbolic artist of the blue island, who is convalescing these days.
Starting already on Boxing Day with free screenings between Capri’s Auditorium and Anacapri’s Cinema Paradiso (70, until Jan. 2), the festival can also be followed on Mymovies. it and the American Eventive.org platforms (160 digital screenings).
The event organized by the Capri in the World Institute is promoted with the support of the MiC (Dg Cinema), the Campania Region with the sponsorship of the Italian Red Cross, Nuovo Imaie, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.
