“Miranda’s Victim” dir Michelle Danner, will be feted with the “Capri Cult Award 2023”. The movie will be screened at “Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival 2023” on Saturday 30 December, 9.45 pm at Capri Auditorium.
The film, on the road to the Awards season 2024, is a legal drama directed by Michelle Danner and with a script by George Kolber and J. Craig Stiles. The film will star Abigail Breslin known for the acclaimed “Little Miss Sunshine” and for the more recent “Welcome to Zombieland” and “The Girl from Stillwater”. The other cast members are the great actor Donald Sutherland, Andy Garcia and Luke Wilson.

In 1963, 18-year-old Patricia Weir is kidnapped and brutally raped. Committed to putting her attacker, Ernesto Miranda, in prison, Patty’s life is destroyed by the American legal system as it triggers a law that transforms the nation.
