‘Capri, Hollywood Festival 2023’ brings the new wave of Cinema talents including from Americans Mike Markoff and Annie Bezikian and Ukrainian supermodel Liza Makhu to the highly-launched Italians Renato Reggiani and Martina Difonte (Breakout Actors of The Year) and the leads from ‘Mixed by Erry’ (Luigi D’Oriano, Giuseppe Arena, Emanuele Palumbo). But there will also be Filippo Laganà, Riccardo Mandolini, Venezuelan Elis Rivera, and Romanian Christina Belciu and Daria Chimou. They all will be among the stars of the 28th edition of the International Film festival, promoted with the MiC (Dg Cinema) and the Campania Region (Film Commission) together with Intesa Sanpaolo and Givova, which opens on the azure island from December 26 to January 2. It is a well-established tradition that of the kermesse that inaugurates the awards season founded and produced by Pascal Vicedomini, which over the years has hosted big stars such as Gerard Butler, Michael Fassbender and Andrew Garfield in its early days.

The Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri will host as tradition in the Diefenbach Hall the guest discussion on global issues, this year they will discuss ‘Cinema and Artificial Intelligence. Will Culture Save Us?’ with representatives of the audiovisual industry and film ‘masters’ from Bobby Moresco (Chairman) to Mike Figgis. The British director is also the ‘judge’ of the Capri special digital contest presenting a selection of about 100 works from the more than 1400 entries received from over 90 countries around the world. Young people and the future of creativity will be discussed on December 28 with Sir Gabriele Pao Pei Andreoli, directors Edoardo De Angelis, Neri Parenti, Angelo Antonucci, Gianluca Ansanelli, Stefano Reali; actors Emilio Franchini, Rita Pilato, and photographers Vicoolya (Rus) and Saida (Ucr).

A special showcase for the festival’s youth and stars will be the ‘Movie Seminars’ held with Scabec at the Nest in San Giovanni a Teduccio and the Armida Theater in Sorrento.
