Iconic music star Tony Renis honored with the “Capri Legend Award 2023” during the Awards Ceremony in the Cinema Metropolitan of Naples. Tony Renis is an eclectic Italian artist, author, singer, and music producer. His career began in Milan in the 1950s and he marked the history of Italian music by performing the famous “Quando quando quando” (1962) and writing for Mina. He later moved to the United States where he was honored with the Golden Globe with “The Prayer” (1999). In 2002 he was named Ambassador of Italian Song in the World, in 2005 he won the David di Donatello for “Merry Christmas in Love,” and also won the Federico Fellini Lifetime Achievement Award at the Rome International Festival.
