“SANDOKAN” WINS THE CAPRI TV SERIES AWARD 2025 INTERNATIONAL CO-PRODUCTION TOPS RAI TV RATINGS IN ITALY FEATURING ALESSANDRO PREZIOSI

(EN) ROME, Dec 16 – “Sandokan” wins the Capri TV Series Award 2025, establishing itself as TV Series of the Year within “Capri Hollywood – The International Film Festival”, promoted by the Istituto Capri nel Mondo with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region, and with the participation of Intesa Sanpaolo, UniSalute and Givova.

During the official ceremony scheduled for December 27 on the Island of Capri, the “Capri Person of the Year Award” will also be presented to Alessandro Preziosi for “…his multifaceted artistic talent and for his constant commitment to social causes, values that have made him a reference figure in the Italian cultural landscape,” states Tony Renis, Honorary President of the Italian festival that opens the race toward the global Awards, who also adds: “May the Capri Award be for Sandokan the prelude to the Emmy Award that the Series deserves for having relaunched with freshness an enduring myth, the result of the genius of a great Italian writer such as Emilio Salgari.”
