Il film racconta la tragica vicenda di Hind Rajab, una bambina palestinese rimasta intrappolata in un’auto sotto il fuoco durante un attacco a Gaza il 29 gennaio 2024. I volontari della Mezzaluna Rossa ricevono la sua chiamata d’emergenza e, aggrappati alla sua voce, cercano di far arrivare un’ambulanza in una zona assediata dall’esercito, mentre il tempo stringe e tutto sembra remare contro ogni possibilità di salvataggio. Il racconto intreccia registrazioni reali della telefonata con interpretazioni filmiche che esplorano l’angoscia, la speranza e l’impotenza davanti alla brutalità del conflitto.
The film tells the harrowing true story of Hind Rajab, a young Palestinian girl trapped in a car under fire during an attack in Gaza on January 29, 2024. Volunteers at the Palestine Red Crescent Society receive her emergency call and, clinging to her voice, attempt to get an ambulance through a besieged war zone as time runs out and every obstacle seems insurmountable. The narrative blends the real audio of the call with reenacted scenes that convey the anguish, hope, and helplessness in the face of the violent conflict.
