Nella foresta alla periferia della città, l’habitat naturale di un orso grizzly di nome Orecchio Mozzato viene distrutto dalle esplosioni delle miniere vicine. L’animale si spinge fino agli insediamenti umani, uccidendo uno dei due cavalli pregiati di una stalla e ferendo l’altro. Halef, il proprietario, parte per vendicarsi insieme a Şeref e Ragıp, i figli del fratello Kasım, recentemente scomparso. Dopo tre giorni di ricerche estenuanti, i tre trovano rifugio in una baita abbandonata nel cuore della foresta, dove scopriranno non solo l’orso, ma anche il proprio passato.
In a forest on the outskirts of the city, the natural habitat of a grizzly bear named The Cut Ear is destroyed by explosions from nearby mines. The bear wanders into a settlement, killing one of two prized horses in a stable and injuring the other. Halef, the owner, sets out for revenge with Şeref and Ragıp, the sons of his recently disappeared brother Kasım. After three exhausting days of searching, they take shelter in an abandoned cabin deep in the forest, where they will discover not only the bear, but also their own past.
