260 Days, a powerful international film starring Tim Roth, Armand Assante and Ángela Molina, will officially open the 30th edition of Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival, taking place from December 27 to January 2 on the island of Capri. The opening night will be held on December 27, 2025, at the Capri Congress Center.

The announcement was made by Festival Chairman Vincent Riotta, an Anglo-Italian actor of Sicilian origin and a prominent figure in international cinema and television, who will symbolically lead this celebratory edition marking the Festival’s 30th anniversary.

Based on a true story, 260 Days tells, through the eyes of a child, the ordeal of a family devastated by war and forced into 260 days of captivity, transforming a personal tragedy into a universal story of survival, memory and human dignity. A film of strong emotional impact, it combines historical rigor with deep humanity, fully aligned with the spirit of the Festival.

Capri, Hollywood – The International Film Festival is promoted by the Capri in the World Institute and produced by Pascal Vicedomini, organized with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture – Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual, the Campania Region, together with Intesa Sanpaolo and Givova.

The 2025 edition marks a historic milestone for a Festival that has become, over the years, a cultural bridge between Europe and Hollywood and a key international event on the eve of the global Awards Season, blending glamour, artistic reflection and cross-cultural dialogue.
