“800 giorni”, directed by Dennis Dellai, will be feted with the “Capri Cult Award 2023”. The movie will be screened on Friday, December 29, at 3.00 pm at Capri Auditorium.
After “Terre Rosse” and “Oscar” director Dennis Dellai presents his third feature film. It tackles a very sensitive subject, one of the darkest seasons that affected Italy, the infamous era of kidnappings between the 1980s and the 90s, in particular the story of Carlo Celadon. An expository film that won the 10th Glass Lion at the 80th edition of the Venice Film Festival.
Official plot:
January 1988. Upon returning from a party, Paolo Pierobon, son of a well-known Vicenza businessman, is kidnapped outside his home by exponents of the Ndrangheta.
