Jake Watson, having spent ten years on the road dealing with the grief of his wife’s death, returns to his hometown for his son’s funeral and attempts to rebuild relationships with the family he left behind. To support his daughter-in-law, he takes a job driving a limo, and on a rainy night he picks up singer Catriona Walsh at the airport and takes her to her gig. That chance encounter turns into a transformative road trip, forcing him to confront his past, process grief, and consider a new path forward.
