In un villaggio colpito dalla siccità, una donna sola assume due lavoratori clandestini per scavare un pozzo, nel disperato tentativo di salvare la sua fattoria. Quando finalmente trovano l’acqua, la donna si rende conto che non può pagarli. Paura e incertezza la spingono verso una scelta inaspettata, che cambierà il loro destino.
In a drought-stricken village, a lonely woman hires two undocumented workers to dig a well in a desperate attempt to save her farm. When they finally find water, she realizes she cannot pay them. Fear and uncertainty drive her toward an unexpected choice that will change their destinies.
