During the Xuantong era, in the northwestern Gobi Desert, brutal bandits ravage villages. To resist them, Ping’an defies his paternal family’s rule that forbade the practice of martial arts. When a mysterious swordsman is killed by the bandits, Ping’an’s father, once a master warrior, forges the “Blade of Compassion” with his son, and together they embark on an epic battle against the desert bandits.
